UFC CEO Dana White opens up on feeling “almost nothing” over death of his parents

MMA supremo White had a complicated relationship with his parents over the years, and spoke with Piers Morgan about how it shaped his views of fatherhood and business

UFC CEO Dana White has opened up for the first time about the passing of his parents, and how he felt “almost nothing” upon their passing.

The MMA supremo was yesterday promoted from president to CEO as the company merged with WWE to form the TKO Group on the New York Stock Exchange, with an initial valuation over $21billion. It’s a far cry from the $2million the Fertitta Brothers first paid when he became initially involved in the business and brought it to worldwide prominence.

And speaking candidly for the first time with Piers Morgan on an episode of his TalkTV show that airs tonight at 8pm, White detailed how he dealt with the recent passings of his mother and father. His relationships with both were tumultuous, to the point that he had “nothing to do with” his mother’s family after she passed.

TNT Sports will bring you a host of thrilling drama from the boxing world in 2023 and beyond. Catch up with the best in the business while following all of the best action from fights around the world broadcast weekly as part of the TNT package.
