The refusal has led to the Manchester club taking disciplinary action after they released a statement saying he would be training away from the main group. The short statement released by the club read: "Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue." Sancho had claimed ten Hag was using him as a scapegoat when the Dutch manager said the reason he was not picked was down to his performances in training. The 23-year-old took to social media to have his say on the matter. He wrote: "I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. "I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair! "All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
