EastEnders viewers are worried after predicting a tragic exit storyline for Rocky Cotton on the BBC soap, following the news actor Brian Conley is leaving the show.
Amid denied reports of a fallout with bosses, it’s been revealed Rocky’s exit has been in the pipeline for some time after Brian expressed his desire to leave the show. Writers have already planned and sorted the exit with it “set in stone”. It’s been hinted the storyline may have already been filmed, while this is not confirmed as an exit date is not known. We also do not know how Rocky will leave the show – but fans are worried given a huge fire will soon air on the BBC soap.
The café owned by Rocky’s wife Kathy Beale is set to go up in flames, with it teased lives will be on the line. With possible deaths airing, fans are now predicting Rocky might die in the blaze. Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “He’s dying in the cafe fire then⦠which I’m assuming Jo will be cause of?”. Another agreed: “I don’t reckon Rocky will be the one dead at Christmas but he could be the one dead in the fire coming up?” as a third said: “Rocky’s gonna die in the fire isn’t he?”
A fourth viewer tweeted: “Maybe he’s the body in the cafe fire before Christmas.. only way I can see him leaving,” while a fifth said: “So who reckons Rocky will die in the fire then?” It comes a day after EastEnders addressed the reports about his exit, denying claims of a fallout.
