In Tampa, Rick’s on the River owner Ken Brackins exposed dine-and-dash customers on social media to make them pay – posting pictures and videos in a bid to shame them
After facing a series of dine and dashers, one Florida restaurant owner decided to start exposing these thieves online, in hopes that they’ll stop targetting his eatery.
In Tampa, Rick’s on the River owner Ken Brackins went on ‘Fox and Friends First,’ explaining that he’s not seeking help from law enforcement in this situation – instead, he’s posting up photos and videos of individuals who have dined and dashed at his establishment.
“We use this as also a deterrent,” Brackins on Thursday told Ashley Strohmier. “We’re not really trying to⦠get the money as much as use as a deterrent⦠so they won’t do it again or⦠we don’t want those customers back. We always make them come back in and pay, that want to pay over the phone – but we make them do the walk of shame and come in and pay,” he continued.
