 Police have confirmed a sighting of escaped terror suspect Daniel Khalife in southwest London. An eyewitness reported seeing a man fitting Khalife's description on Wednesday morning 'walking away from a BidFood van that had stopped near the south entrance to Wandsworth Roundabout', about a mile from Wandsworth Prison, according to Scotland Yard. Khalife was spotted at the 'top of Trinity Road, shortly after his escape', they added. The 21-year-old former soldier was later spotted'walking towards Wandsworth town centre'. Police said the sighting 'could be very significant,' and is 'one of several key lines of enquiry that officers are pursuing'. Officers have offered a reward of £20,000 for information on the fugitive, who has been accused of spying on Britain for Iran. An eyewitness reported seeing a man fitting Khalife’s description on Wednesday morning ‘walking away from a BidFood van that had stopped near the south entrance to Wandsworth Roundabout’, about a mile from Wandsworth Prison, according to Scotland Yard.
Khalife was spotted at the ‘top of Trinity Road, shortly after his escape’, they added.
The 21-year-old former soldier was later spotted ‘walking towards Wandsworth town centre’.
