Boy, 14, executed parents and siblings including baby in act ‘draped in unmitigated evil’

An Alabama youngster was found guilty of killing five members of his family, including an infant and two young children, and was given a life sentence without the possibility of parole

A boy who shockingly murdered five members of his family, including an infant and two young children, has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release for the crime described by a judge as “draped in unmitigated evil.”

Prosecutors said that Mason, then barely 14 years old, shot each member of his family in the head at their Elkmont home. The murderous act claimed the lives of John Wayne Sisk, 38, his wife Mary Sisk, 35, and three of their children: 6-year-old Grayson, 4-year-old Aurora, and 6-month-old Colson.

Mason first told authorities that he was playing video games in the basement on September 2, 2019, when he heard gunshots and ran outside to see a car driving away, but he later admitted that he had actually killed his family.
