After playing key roles in Brexit and the demise of two prime ministers, Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s erstwhile chief adviser, has set himself another major challenge: the former head of the Vote Leave campaign has decided to create a new political party to replace the “rotten Tory horrorshow” and form a government at the election after next.
In a series of blogs he revealed that he was sounding out donors and activists with the aim of launching the new party by Christmas.
