No, we're not talking about the north London district, but the five demonic nuns that were spotted in various locations this morning. We hope they don't make a habit of this, as they really added a new layer of spook the Millennium Bridge after that bleak Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince scene. The sisters, with their faces obscured, lined up in an arrow formation on the pedestrian bridge with their hands outstretched like something from a, er, horror film. Strolling up to St Paul's, the nuns then struck a similarly eerie pose in front of a bus, set for Seven Sisters. That would've woken up a city early bird or two. If you think this looks like something out of a spooky flick, you'd be right as the nuns are marking the release of The Nun II on September 8. Cinema goers can expect a jump – or seven – as protagonist Sister Irene fights against hair-raising naughty nun, Valak. Directed by Michael Chaves – who was also behind The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It – The Nun II sees the return of Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene. Bonnie Aarons is levitating onto your screams – we mean screens – again as Demon Nun, while Game of Thrones' Charlotte Hope, Demián Bichir, and Jonas Bloquet are also starring in the sequel.
