A Labrador has been found safe after walking into a takeaway shop two weeks after she disappeared.
Mystery surrounds where Rosie had been for the last two weeks as the area of Bertha Park Loch where she disappeared on August 19 was heavily searched by volunteers working with Missing Pets, Perth and Kinross and Search Dogs For Lost Dogs Scotland without coming across a single lead.
But on Sunday she turned up outside Baba’s takeaway on Anderson Avenue. Rosie was unharmed but had a large number of ticks on her body, reports Daily Record. Baba’s staff had her missing poster in the shop window so manager Saif Rashid knew immediately who the hungry âwalk-in’ was.
He said: “We just arrived and she was there. I grabbed her collar and didn’t want to let her go”. Owner Mark Haddow – who walked miles and miles with his family over the past two weeks trying to find Rosie – told the Perthshire Advertiser: “I think big mentions should go to Missing Pets, my boys Kyle and Josh and Kirsty, my wife.
