Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “are done” with their former royal lives and don’t want to talk about family, a source has insisted.
It is set to be a big week for the couple, not least Harry, who is set to return to the UK later this week in order to attend a charity awards on the eve of the first anniversary of the death of the late Queen. After he will travel to Germany for the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, where he will be joined by wife Meghan several days later.
According to reports, the couple will use the Games as a “reset” so they can change the narrative after they previously opened up about their royal feuds in their controversial Netflix docuseries as well as in Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare.
And one source close to the couple told The Telegraph, the next week is a chance for them to move on. They told the publication: “They are done with their former lives. They’re not talking about family. There’s no expectation that the family’s going to show up or acknowledge it or that anybody wants to see him. It’s over.”
