Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in the dark on Mo Salah ‘agreement’ with Saudi club

Jurgen Klopp was asked about Mohamed Salah’s future in his press conference (Image: Getty) Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp appears to have shut down reports from Saudi Arabia that an ‘agreement’ is in place for Mohamed Salah to join Al Ittihad. Saudi daily newspaper Okaz reported on Friday that a breakthrough had been made in talks between Al Ittihad and Liverpool with Salah set to head to Jeddah. That’s despite Klopp’s repeated remarks that Salah was not for sale and that a deal would not happen. And the German coach insists that stance hasn’t changed over the past week, adding he’s unaware of any official bid being made. “The position remains the same, no doubt about it,” Klopp said. “Nothing else to say.” When asked whether there had been an offer, Klopp added: “Not as far as I know, but that doesn’t mean a lot to be honest.” Mohamed Salah has been in training with Liverpool this week (Image: Getty) We’ll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
