FPL injury news: Triple Man City update, Man Utd make Hojlund call, Chelsea dilemma

It’s another Friday deadline for Fantasy Premier League managers, meaning there’s another scramble to find out all the latest news and injury updates from teams up and down the league. Express Sport is on hand to provide all the latest news in one place. Triple Man City update Juanma Lillo will take Pep Guardiola’s place in the dugout this weekend as the Spaniard recovers from back surgery in Spain and the Manchester City assistant gave a fitness update on three players listed as questionable. Phil Foden was too ill to play the full game against Sheffield United last week while Manuel Akanji was also rested and John Stones hadn’t recovered from his muscle injury in time. But Lillo has confirmed all three players are in contention to return to the starting line-up against Fulham. He said: “Right now, Phil is completely recovered from his illness. Manu’s problem was more prevention. He’s more or less there. John is more or less there as well. We’re okay, we’re fine. It’s not decisive.” Man Utd make Hojlund call It looks as though Erik ten Hag may finally be able to call upon Rasmus Hojlund this weekend with the summer signing potentially in line to start against Arsenal. When asked whether Hojlund was ready to start for United, Ten Hag said: “”I think he can, he’s ready to start.” That could have an even bigger impact on Marcus Rashford owners with the England international set to be pushed back to his preferred left wing role. Sergio Reguillon has also begun training with his new team-mates after joining on loan and could be set to make his debut against Arsenal.
