Rishi Sunak to ‘meet with King Charles at Balmoral’ as he follows late Queen’s tradition (Image: Getty) King Charles III is expected to meet with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak this weekend as part of an ongoing tradition established by his mother.  Queen Elizabeth II started the regular tradition of PMs being invited up to Balmoral, the Royals’ Scotland retreat, for a weekend in the summer. Mr Sunak’s wife, Ashkata Murthy, will be joining him. It comes after Mr Sunak’s family holiday in the US, with the couple and their two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka. The Prime Minister previously told LBC: “The country will be left in the capable hands of the Deputy Prime Minister. So we’re having our first proper family summer holiday in a few years….  “We’re going to California, which is where I met my wife so it’s very special to us.
