He is not the only Liverpool player who is being looked at. According to French outlet RMC, they are also interested in defender Konate. It has been reported that he is an alternative to compatriot Jean-Clair Todibo - who is said to have already rejected a huge offer to stay with current club Nice. Konate, 24, arrived at Liverpool from German giants RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has gone on to make 55 appearances for the Reds but has struggled with injury during his time at Anfield. The French international still has three years left on his contract with the Merseyside outfit.
