Saudi side Al-Ittihad eye third Liverpool transfer after Mo Salah and Joe Gomez attempts

Liverpool have been raided by Saudi clubs this summer and amid interest in Mo Salah and Joe Gomez, Al-Ittihad are aiming to sign yet another Red after their original transfer plans fell through

Saudi side Al-Ittihad are now plotting a move for Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate as they continue to pursue Mo Salah.

The Reds have been plundered by clubs from Saudi throughout the summer transfer window. Jordan Henderson and Fabinho joined Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad respectively, whilst Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino joined Al-Ahli at the end of his contract.

Liverpool could yet lose more players to Saudi clubs before the end of the window. Egyptian forward Salah is of serious interest to Ittihad. They have offered to make him the highest-paid player in the league, whilst they are also ready to table a huge bid to Liverpool.

Joe Gomez is also of interest to the reigning Saudi champions. He is not the only Liverpool player who is being looked at. According to French outlet RMC, they are also interested in defender Konate. It has been reported that he is an alternative to compatriot Jean-Clair Todibo – who is said to have already rejected a huge offer to stay with current club Nice.
