Criminals to be forced to face sentencing under new law after cowardly Lucy Letby refused

Criminals will be forced to attend sentencing hearings or face having their sentences under new government plans after Lucy Letby refused. The government said it was planning to introduce the reform this week and promised to create a new power for judges to make the order. The new laws will also allow custody officers to use reasonable force to make offenders appear at the sentencing. They added that this means “every effort will be made for victims and their families to see justice delivered”. The decision to introduce these new laws comes after murderer Letby refused to attend her sentencing earlier this month.
