 WhatsApp has released a new app for macOS that offers group calls on Apple computers. The app can support up to eight people in a group video session and as many as 32 in an audio call. Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared a social media post introducing the feature and a screenshot of him using it. Earlier this year, the company introduced a new WhatsApp app for Windows desktop, and is now extending this experience to Mac users. 'Now you can join a group call after it's started, see your call history and choose to receive incoming call notifications even when the app is closed,' said WhatsApp in a blog post.
