Earlier this year, the TV presenter revealed that she pitched the idea of Love Island spin-off with older people to ITV . She told Steven Bartlett on his podcast The Diary of a CEO: 'I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle-aged people with the best back stories you have ever heard in your life. 'They've lived a life – they're widows, they're people who have been through horrific divorces. "They are people who have split up with somebody and decided they want to try going out with somebody the same sex as them. "They're like interesting people. I'd watch that show.' Your Mum, Your Dad will continue weeknights for two weeks and the cast us yet to be revealed. Viewers will follow single parents from all over the UK and all walks of life as they live together at a stunning country house retreat to find true love. But there's a twist. Unbeknownst to the parents, their kids will be watching their every move from a nearby location called The Bunker. They will hold all the power as they watch from a surveillance room and witness all the action of their parents' journeys to find love. They will get the opportunity to play matchmaker and decide their mum or dad's dating fate. From humorous moments to heart warming confessions, the kids will see their parents in a whole new light.
