Amy's blood pressure was dangerously low after sepsis gripped her body - and she has very little memory of her time in hospital. After surviving the life-threatening illness, Amy has now returned home. She told Hello! Magazine: "I just got very, very unlucky," she says. "I'm also more prone to infections because my Crohn's means I have a lower immune system. 'The doctors and nurses were telling me I had sepsis and that it was life-threatening, but I wasn't taking it in. "I didn't become properly aware until later. I told my dad: 'I've got sepsis' and he said: 'I know!'."
