With the countdown on until Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy welcome their baby into the world, she has been showing off the nursery but it’s not been perfect preparation
Laura Anderson is due to give birth any day now and, after reportedly reuniting with on-off boyfriend Gary Lucy and putting together their baby’s nursery, she made a candid admission.
The heavily pregnant former Love Island star will give birth to her first child very soon but admitted she’s feeling a little “defeated”. She’s certainly been busy and the excitement is growing as they count down the hours.
She gave her Instagram followers a little look at the baby’s room featured a cot, nursing chair, a much-needed nappy changing station and plenty of toys. But, she says she has struggled to harvest her colostrum – the first form of milk produced by an expectant mum – on the first attempt, and that’s left her a little beaten.
Laura posted: “Lil nursery sneak peek. My second attempt at harvesting colostrum was a success. First time round I gave up as it was just droplets. I felt defeated I won’t lie. This morning I gave it another bash, going between the two nips lol a little droplet at a time and the syringe filled up. Feeling a sense of accomplishment. Our bodies are just crazy.”
