Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, has posted a photo on Instagram that could offer a hint over her husband’s potential involvement in this year’s Ryder Cup for Team USA
Jena Sims, the wife of golf star Brooks Koepka, has provided a cryptic clue about her husband’s potential involvement in the Ryder Cup.
Koepha was one of a number of players who left the PGA Tour to sign up for LIV Golf which is backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. He was joined by the likes of Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Ian Poulter, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood.
There has been an ongoing feud between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf ever since last year when some of golf’s biggest names left to move to the Saudi-funded breakaway league. Other players such as Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth remained on the PGA Tour.
With Koepka one of the players to leave the PGA Tour, there has been speculation over whether or not he and others who signed up for LIV Golf would be able to take part in the Ryder Cup. The tournament takes place at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy from September 29 to October 1.
