Once it goes through, Bayindir is on standby to fly to Manchester to complete his move, with most of the paperwork already completed. The Turkey international was removed from Fenerbahce's starting XI when they beat Twente 5-1 in the Europa Conference League on Thursday and he even appeared to wave goodbye to supporters afterwards. Now Fred has added more fuel to the speculation that an announcement is imminent, wishing the goalkeeper good luck at Old Trafford and suggesting the transfer is a formality. Asked about Bayindir's potential exit at an unveiling press conference on Monday, Fred effectively confirmed the move, saying: 'I wished Altay good luck when he left. He's going to a great team.
