 Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) will attempt to take his own life in Hollyoaks next week as his struggles and anxiety overwhelm him, with the teen believing that there is no other way out. It's been a tough few months for Charlie, who has struggled greatly in the wake of a number of ordeals, including facing prison , embarking on a new relationship, not to mention the death of his biological dad. Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) and Shing Lin Leong (Izzie Yip) have promised to be there for him as he seeks help for his anxiety, but after discovering that he'd need counselling before medication, Charlie has once again spiralled, isolating himself from his loved ones. With the stresses and pressures of his GCSE results now on his plate, upcoming scenes see Charlie seriously struggle. Darren makes it his mission to ease the load, revealing that the school will allow him to redo the year. Charlie, however, refuses to go back. The teen subsequently takes shelter in his room, blocking the world out, much to the concern of Darren, who desperately tries to help by roping in support from Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Shing Lin to no avail. Charlie makes his way to the beach (Picture: Lime Pictures) Charlie, meanwhile, unlocks his room and makes his way to band practice, but he's hit with another anxiety attack and makes a beeline for the exit, with Shing Lin subsequently receiving a number of concerning texts from her beau, which leave her incredibly worried. After Shing Lin reveals her concerns, Darren and Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) force their way into Charlie's bedroom, where they discover a wall full of dark lyrics, much to their horror.
