Harrison Floyd, 39, is one of Trump’s 18 co-defendants in the Georgia 2020 election subversion case, with a hearing held today resulting him being denied bond and returned to custody
A co-defendant and leader of Black Voices for Trump support is the only co-defendant in the Georgia’s 2020 election interference case to still be held custody without bond.
Harrison Floyd, 39, is one of Trump’s 18 co-defendants in the Georgia 2020 election subversion case and faces charges of violating Georgia’s racketeering act, conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings and influencing witnesses in the Fulton County District Attorney’s investigation. Also known as Willie Lewis Floyd III, he helped run Trump’s 2020 campaign outreach to Black voters.
Floyd remains in jail after surrendering to Fulton County jail on Thursday afternoon. All 19 co-defendants indicted for allegedly trying to interfere with Georgia’s 2020 special election have surrendered to the Fulton County Jail. All but one were released moments after their arrests.
The final defendant, Harrison Floyd, remains in jail. Prior to his surrender, Floyd did not reportedly negotiate a bond amount, as is the case with his 18 co-defendants. During a bond hearing, Judge Emily Richardson chose to deny bond, keeping him in custody.
