And the team's backroom coaches have now departed in protest at Rubiales' refusal to stand down from his position , leaving Vilda as the sole remaining member of staff. It's believed Spain's coaches were particularly angry at being made to attend Rubiales' defensive press conference yesterday. He sensationally refused to quit his role as Spain FA chief. And Rubiales claimed "false feminism" was driving a witch hunt against him. He said: "I want to thank everyone who has shown me their support. "There are many people who, although silenced, have supported me. I would say more than against it." Hermoso insists she did not give her consent to the kiss, which was captured on live TV after Spain beat England 1-0 in the Sydney final.
