Bob Barker, a legendary American television host, has sadly died at the age of 99.
Reports say that Bob died of “natural causes” while at home, with him dying “peacefully” on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. His representative confirmed the news to TMZ.
Bob, whose real name was Robert William Barker, was best known and loved for hosting hit CBS gameshow The Price Is Right. He was at the helm of the show from 1972 until 2007, with him also known for hosting Truth or Consequences from 1956 until 1975.
The TV host’s sad passing comes almost 51 years to the day that Bob began hosting The Price Is Right, with him first taking on hosting duties on September 4, 1972.
