The number of children killed in Ukraine over summer has jumped by more than 16% as air and drone attacks tripled, new figures show.
Between May and August of this year 151 children have been killed or injured in Ukraine – 16% more than the previous four months, Save the Children says.
The total number of child casualties in Ukraine since the war began last February has reached 1,680, according to UN data. That includes 541 deaths, with 25 children killed this summer.
