Arsenal transfer news: Mikel Arteta has been urged to sign Alexander Isak Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit claims Alexander Isak would be the perfect striker for his old club. The former France star says Mikel Arteta is in need of adding a 30-goal-a-season forward to his squad. Arsenal have started the season without Gabriel Jesus due to a knee injury. Magpies boss Eddie Howe admitted earlier this year that he could see similarities between Isak and Gunners legend Thierry Henry. Everyone is different, there are no two players that are the same, but I do think he has some of the characteristics Thierry had.” Petit says it is too early to say Isak will be as good as his old team-mate Henry. He wants to score every time he gets the ball but he needs to be more precise in his game. “Physically and technically, he has a huge presence on the pitch. If one day someone can tell me that he plays like Thierry Henry, maybe I will believe them, but for the moment it’s really too soon to say that.
