Trump’s strict social media bond conditions

Unlike his three previous cases, the former president has been issued prohibitive conditions in regards to charges he faces in Georgia alleging efforts made by him and co-conspirators to overturn the 2020 election

Judge Scott McAfee of the Fulton County Superior Court arranged Donald Trump’s $200,000 bond this week, which marked the first law-binding demands handed to Trump in any of his four indictments.

“Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Judge McAfee singled Trump out in the order by explicitly barring him from attempting to intimidate any of his 18 co-defendants, along with his 30 unindicted co-conspirators, or witnesses in the case.

The official document said Trump isn’t allowed to “obstruct the administration of justice” or make “direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community.” This restriction includes posts on social media or reposts of posts, according to Newsweek.
