Max Verstappen’s 2024 team-mate confirmed as Felipe Massa issued warning

Felipe Massa has been given some new advice in his legal battle with the FIA and F1 over Lewis Hamilton ‘s 2008 World Championship, while Max Verstappen has been informed of his team-mate for the 2024 season. Massa’s lawyers have commenced legal proceedings against the two parties off the back of comments made by Bernie Ecclestone earlier this year about the ‘Crashgate’ scandal, which shed new light on the story. Verstappen, meanwhile, is running away with his third successive world title and has obliterated team-mate Sergio Perez in the head-to-head battle at Red Bull this season. The 25-year-old has ten wins to his name already in just 12 races. Such a one-sided team performance has naturally raised questions about Checo’s future within the team, with the Mexican contracted to drive for Red Bull until the end of 2024 but fans expecting him to be released from the team ahead of schedule.
