Royal Family website updated again just weeks after Prince Harry’s title removed

The official website for the Royal Family has once again been updated, just weeks after they made a significant adjustment to Prince Harry’s page. Up until early August he was still listed as HRH on the site, despite the infamous Megxit agreement of January 2020 stating that he would no longer use that title. Now he is simply referred to as the Duke or Duke of Sussex and he is not called His Royal Highness anywhere on the site. The website needed to undergo several updates following the death of Queen Elizabeth to reflect the Firm’s new titles, however further changes were pointed out by account Gert’s Royals on social media. The royal blogger posted that the royal website now includes a drop-down menu under the title ‘Royal websites’, which leads to four external sites. Prince Harry’s title has been removed from the Royal Family website (Image: Getty) On that page visitors can navigate to The Royal Collection Trust, which is the manager of the royal art collection and public openings of royal residences. They can also look at the work of royal charities such as The Prince’s Trust, King Charles’s longstanding organisation dedicated to at-risk youth and The Royal Foundation, headed by the Prince and Princess of Wales. There is also a page dedicated to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a youth awards scheme founded by Prince Philip and headed today by Prince Edward, the new Duke of Edinburgh. The website now reflects the King and Queen’s new titles (Image: Getty) Following a series of errors pointed out by Express.co.uk , various changes have been made to the website, particularly to the pages for Kensington Palace and Clarence House, to reflect the new titles of King Charles and Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Princess of Wales. Previously Charles and Camilla were referred to as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, titles they ceased using after the death of Queen Elizabeth on September 8 last year. Harry was also previously listed as the youngest son as the Prince of Wales, suggesting he was his five-year-old nephew Prince Louis. Kate and William have also gained new titles in the past year (Image: Getty) Now the website has been changed to say: “The Duke of Sussex is fifth in line to the throne and the younger son of The King and Diana, Princess of Wales.” Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “The Royal Family website contains over five thousand pages of information about the life and work of the Royal Family. “Following the death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, content has been revisited and updated periodically. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete.”
