Beatrice began sharing her skin journey on TikTok (@beatrice_gauca), gaining over 41,200 followers. She recounted going to bed on March 15 after arriving Belgium, only to wake up in the middle of the night to find her eye was swollen. Thinking it would go away, she was concerned to notice spots resembling chicken pox popping up on her face. Things continued to escalate once Beatrice returned home to Ireland.
