NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Harry Brook says he is ‘trying not to think about’ his surprising omission from England’s World Cup squad.
Brook was left out of England’s 15-player squad for next month’s ODI series against New Zealand, with the same group set to travel to India for the 50-over World Cup in October.
England will aim to retain the World Cup trophy following a thrilling and memorable triumph on home soil in 2019.
But Brook, who has enjoyed a sensational start to his international career and impressed in the recent drawn Ashes series, will not be involved barring a late call-up.
