 An influencer has gone viral for sharing the excruciatingly relatable reason why she broke up with the father of her child. In a 'post break-up glow up' video, podcaster Keelin Moncrieff , 24, from Dublin, Ireland, dyed her hair and eyebrows as she explained that she and her partner had broken up two months prior. Keelin, who has more than 100,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, said that she hadn't yet had the 'time or space' to really feel the emotions that usually stem from a break up, like loneliness or heartbreak, but that she wanted to wait until she had cooled down before addressing it publicly. She went on to say that the first year after having a baby is 'extremely taxing and stressful and puts a huge strain on your relationship'. 'I think, just as a woman, I was constantly feeling like I was choosing between whether I was holding resentment or being a nag and to be honest I don't want to do either of those things for the rest of my life,' she said. 'I'd rather just be alone than feel lonely in a relationship. 'I just wasn't in the mood to play the role of a woman. 'I was already stripped of too much of my identity.' She added that she was on good terms with her ex due to the fact that they're co-parenting. Keelin's video went viral fast. In just two days it has garnered more than 580,000 views on TikTok – and everyone in the comments was super supportive. 'I'm married with a baby around the same age. I understand those feelings so well, nag or resentment. It's so hard, well done for putting you first,' wrote one user. Another said they broke up with their son's dad for the exact same reason.
