England’s Women are eyeing their first ever World Cup triumph when they face Spain in Australia with one major pub chain handing out free drinks during the Sunday morning showpiece
Greene King, among the biggest chain in the country with over 900 pubs, will be handing out free drinks to celebrate the Lionesses reaching the World Cup final.
England’s Women take on Spain as they eye a first ever World Cup success, just 12 months after securing the Euros on home soil. Their exploits in Australia have captured the nation and fans will tune in to their showpiece game against Spain, which kicks-off at 11pm.
Fans heading to a Greene King pub can land a free drink by simply turning up in either the England kit, England colours or England face paint. The offer will be live on Sunday from 11am to 2pm as will allow customers to enjoy anything from cask ales, lagers, craft beers, wines, spirits and mixers.
Ales include Green Kine IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Yardbird whilst the lagers on offer vary from Beavertown Neck Oil to Estrella. Strongbow Dark Fruits, Thatchers Gold and Aspall are among the ciders on offer whilst G&T drinkers can also get involved.
