Skincare brand shoppers describe as a ‘miracle’ launches new range for acne prone skin

Curél is the number one skincare brand in Japan for sensitive skin and its new skincare ranges works to replenish, protect and promote the natural ceramide moisturisers in the skin

A skincare brand that is loved by chemists and dermatologists across the world, raved about on platforms like TikTok for its ability to target and help acne prone, oily and sensitive skin has today (Thursday, August 17) released its new skin balancing range in Boots – it’s the biggest launch since 2019 and one which claims to “fill a gap” in the skincare world.

Curél is a leading Japanese skincare brand whose big focus is on dry and sensitive skin with its concoctions being designed specifically to “replenish, protect and promote the natural ceramide” in skin. Available from Boots from just £12.50 the new range will include a new foaming face wash (a product which in the past has received rave reviews), hydrating water essence – to soothe and hydrate skin – and gel moisturiser.

Designed to combat excess sebum (an oily substance your body produces to keep the skin moisturised), this specific range has those with oily and sensitive skin type in mind thanks to its pH-balanced, fragrance free and non-comedogenic (pore clogging) ingredients.

Reflecting on this new range, all of which is available at your nearest Boots store and online, Dr Catharine Denning, an ambassador for Curél, said: “Historically, Skincare that has focused on tackling oily, blemish-prone skin has used very active, drying and stripping ingredients whilst not addressing the skin’s barrier function.
