McGregor has one of the most iconic UFC walkouts in history and the favourite of his career took place before he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight title
Conor McGregor’s favourite UFC walkout took place moments before he became the first simultaneous two-weight world champion.
McGregor, 35, typically walks out ‘The Foggy Dew’ which is sung by the late Sinéad O’Connor and The Chieftains. The song has become synonymous with the Irishman, who has one of the most iconic walkouts in UFC history. McGregor often remixes the Irish folk song with ‘Juicy’ by legendary rapper Biggie Smalls.
The Irishman recently coached alongside Michael Chandler on season 31 of the UFC’s reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter. In unseen footage of the season’s final episode, McGregor takes his team out for dinner and one of his fighters quizzes him about his past walkouts. McGregor then names his UFC 205 fight against Eddie Alvarez in November 2016 as the favourite entrance of his career.
