A woman called Alexa has revealed how she and her friends were supposed to be staying in a dream Airbnb for her hen do but it became a nightmare after they experienced a number of horrifying things
A woman has revealed how she and her friends ended up leaving an Airbnb after discovering a fake wall and a hidden flat upstairs. TikToker Alexa (@heyylexa2) and her seven friends were in San Rafael, California to celebrate her upcoming wedding by throwing a hen party at a plush four-bedroom, waterfront home.
In a series of videos, Alexa and her fiance document how things go from great to downright terrifying in just a matter of hours. In the first of four installments, it shows the excited women entering the house and showing off how beautiful it all looks. Alexa’s friends had decorated the inside of the dining area, the wine was flowing and they were excited to get into the hot tub and have fun.
Alexa’s fiance reveals that everything was wonderful until one of the guests noticed that a wall they had assumed was solid, was actually fake, and when pushed it opened up to a secret staircase. He goes on to say that ultimately, this wouldn’t have been an issue if it was in the original listing but the Airbnb post specifically stated there were no staircases and it was a single-family home.
Understandably, the women felt a bit freaked out but wanted to give Alexa a good time so pushed the thoughts aside and got on with it. However, over the course of the evening, there were a number of other strange incidents that didn’t sit right with the hens. At one point, while sitting in the back garden they noticed the security cameras were following them around when they moved. They knew about the CCTV, so that wasn’t an issue, but it soon became clear they were being monitored when the host messaged them to tell them to stop touching the jet panel in the hot tub.
