Romelu Lukaku left Manchester United four years ago and is on the lookout for a new club this summer as Chelsea are keen to cash-in on the Belgian international
Dwight Yorke has urged his former club Manchester United to cheekily try to re-sign Romelu Lukaku on a loan deal from Chelsea.
Lukaku previously spent two seasons at Old Trafford between 2017 and 2019; he was signed in a landmark £75million deal by Jose Mourinho but two years later he was sold to Inter after falling out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The former Everton striker was a popular figure with the Italian club before he was lured back to Stamford Bridge for a second spell in the summer of 2021 in a blockbuster £97.5million move. But after struggling to live up to expectations, the 30-year-old was shipped back out to the Serie A outfit on loan before the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Belgian striker was plagued by injuries last season and has found the net 14 times in 37 appearances but was not a regular as his side reached the Champions League final. He is now back at Chelsea â who are desperate to move him on before the transfer window closes.
