Premier League confirm 17 fixture changes including Arsenal vs Man City clash

The latest set of Premier League televised matches have been confirmed, with a new date in place for the clash between last season’s top two Arsenal and Manchester City

Arsenal and Manchester City will now take place on October 8, with the Premier League confirming the fixture as one of several matches picked for TV in October.

The pair will now face off on October 8, with the game being broadcast live on Sky Sports. It is the first league meeting between last season’s top two, with Arsenal beating City on penalties in the Community Shield earlier this month.

Other matches moved include the Manchester Derby, which will now take place on October 29. Some 17 games have been moved in total, including some non-televised games given new dates due to teams’ involvement in European competition.

Arsenal host City in part of a double-header on October 8, with Brighton v Liverpool also on TV that day. West Ham’s game against Newcastle has also been moved to the same day, with the Hammers in Europa League action on the preceding Thursday.
