Since then, it has emerged that Gallagher is still one of six players Chelsea are looking to sell this summer. New reports now indicate that while Gallagher wants to stay and fight for his spot and Pochettino remains a big fan of the player, Chelsea are not making any effort to negotiate a new contract and it is believed that his future is still up in the air. Gallagher is currently under contract until 2025 and there had been reports that Chelsea were going to hand him a new deal, but nothing has happened just yet. Pochettino, quizzed about Gallagher's future last month, said: 'Conor is in our plans, I was talking with him the first day I arrived. 'In football, things can happen we cannot manage. At the moment, I am happy with him and his performance, he has two years on his contract.'
