The Nassau County Police charged Kiber Calderon with 13 different crimes, ranging from menacing to criminal possession of a weapon, after they waved around a gun in a busy intersection
The police have brought 13 charges against the person who stood in the middle of a Nassau County intersection and waved a gun at passersby and police earlier this week – an incident that went viral after a cop used a police cruiser to take them down.
The charges include two counts of menacing a police officer and three counts of menacing in the third degree as well as several others related to criminal possession of a weapon.
It was a relatively peaceful Tuesday afternoon on Long Island until 31-year-old Kiber Calderon stepped into the middle of the intersection of Jerusalem and Bellmore Avenues in North Bellmore. They raised a gun and started firing it every which way, sometimes taking aim at passing cars.
