Oregon: Missing woman’s remains found in landfill as flatmate admits to dismembering body

Police have found the remains of a mother in a blood-soaked landfill 70 miles from her home in Oregon after a grueling month-long search. Kara Taylor, 49, went missing last July and her disappearance triggered frenzied search efforts by Oregon City Police. Now, her remains have finally been found in the Coffin Butte Landfill in Corvallis after a three-day search of the area. Oregon City Police Captain David Edwins, told KPIC: ‘Our detectives searched the landfill for about three days – 35 to 40 hours. ‘They moved approximately 4,000 to 7,000 tons of equipment with the help of the landfill company.’ For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to Daily Express US
