NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
A young girl at a theme park was struck in the head after an object dropped out of the pocket of a rollercoaster rider.
The pre-teenage girl was standing near a coaster at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, when a ‘box cutter type device’ fell on her, East Lampeter Township told WGAL. The box cutter was not open when it hit the girl around 5.15pm on Saturday.
‘Park staff immediately responded to reports of a young park guest that had been accidentally struck by a utility tool,’ stated Dutch Wonderland, according to the TV station.
‘The guest was treated by first aid at the park and returned home for the evening.’
