Wild has now been handed a three month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for bigamy. Nottingham Crown Court heard Susan and Wild married in 2003 but she "long suspected" her husband was lying about his sexuality. The relationship broke down in 2016 and Wild had declared himself single by November 2020. Susan had attempted to contact her husband for a "quickie divorce" but never heard anything back. Wild claimed he was never asked about a previous marriage or different names when he wed for a second time but the court heard newlyweds-to-be are subjected to a thorough process.
