MIKEL ARTETA made David Raya’s WAG’s day with a simple gesture on her fella’s first day as an Arsenal player.
The Gunners have completed the signing of the goalkeeper on a £3million loan deal with the option of a £27m permanent move.
The 27-year-old Spanish international will now go head-to-head with Aaron Ramsdale to become Arteta’s first choice.
Brentford had initially demanded £40m for a player who only cost them £2m when they bought him from Blackburn in 2019.
That was enough to end interest from Tottenham and Manchester United despite him having only 12 months remaining on his contract.
