Kimberley was using a tablet that was connected to the large broadcast screen behind her when the incident happened. The broadcaster was aiming to show viewers some clearer information but ran into a few hiccups. She was first left battling an awkward situation as she was forced to select her 'cookie options' on screen before going any further. Appearing to insist that the Sky News website was safe, Kimberley proceeded but was then met with an ill-timed advert above the report. An advertisement for a company in theatre titled S***-Faced Shakespeare' could be seen in large letters at the top of the screen. As part of the logo's design, the letter 'i' in the rude word was actually an exclamation mark but it was quickly picked up on by those watching at home. Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Maybe don't show your website on telly at lunchtime, if you've accepted "S***-Faced Shakespeare [as an advertiser]". Another added: "They will be delighted though. Instant viral." While a third said: "Glorious. "Definitely worth paying for that web advert." But one fan insisted it was not swearing as a result of the stylistic choice of the word, writing: "It's OK, the i was actually a !, so it doesn't count as swearing," The Leicester Square theatre company eventually responded as they penned that Kimberley was now entitled to complimentary tickets after she gained the group some traction.
