BILLIONS of Google Chrome users have been urged to check their browser today after eight “high” risk security issues were discovered.
The tech giant found 26 bugs in total, which have now been fixed – but user’s will need to update their browsers urgently.
Google has released a new stable version of its Chrome web browser, titled Chrome 116, which fixes all the vulnerabilities.
The eight riskiest bugs were not used in the wild before they were discovered and fixed, according to Google.
However, they could have had some devastating impacts on users:
