Measures to ease propery rules aim to boost the economy with more women in work

More property owners will be allowed to run childminding businesses at home under plans to boost the economy with more women in work.

Measures to ease property rules that prevent people from becoming childminders are expected to be announced in the next few weeks, The Telegraph understands.

New developments often include restrictions in the property title deeds which prevent residents from running businesses and affect childminders living in purchased and rented properties.

Cutting red tape for those renting their properties is also understood to be on the table.
