You may have noticed an odd prickly sensation on your skin if you were walking around outside earlier today.
It’s popularly known as ‘summer heat’, and it’s been a while since most people in the UK have felt anything like it.
Instead, things have been exceedingly drab and wet for the last little while – and parts of Wales and the north of England had to get through a yellow rain warning as recently as yesterday.
But the Met Office has suggested the country may have turned a corner with the weather, and the sun may just be sticking around for a while.
