Former Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins’ motorbike crashed into a Chevrolet SUV which saw him tragically lose his life as he was pronounced dead at the scene
Tragic images have been released showing the crash site where former NFL running back Alex Collins died.
The ex Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens star was pronounced dead at the scene after his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600K motorcycle crashed in Lauderdale Lakes in south Florida.
The driver of a Chevrolet Suburban SUV had turned left – colliding with Collins’ bike where he ‘came to rest’ inside the vehicle. The circumstances are continuing to be investigated into, but the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida has stated that the wreck was so violent that Collins was thrown from his motorbike.
The video and images of the impact site are believed to have been taken less than an hour after the crash occurred, and the driver of the SUV remained on the scene and was cooperative with the authorities.
